Irene Cara Cause of Death Was High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol

Irene Cara, who sang on “Fame” and “Flashdance,” passed away for reasons that have since been explained. According to TMZ, the celebrity, who was 63 years old, passed away from arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, which was caused by hypertension and excessive cholesterol.

The official cause of death was stated as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease. Cara was also diabetic, which was written down in an official report from the Pinellas County Medical Examiner.

The singer, who won both an Oscar and a Grammy, passed away on November 25 at her home in Largo, Florida.
