Huge GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Reveals Police Shootout, Diner Robbery

There seems to be a huge, first-of-its-kind leak online for GTA 6, showing the first gameplay of Rockstar Games’ new game. Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most-looked-forward-to games of all time. Even now, GTA 5 is always near the top of the sales charts for video games, and for a good reason.

Rockstar Games is great at making open-world sandbox games with a lot of detail, which is why this game from 2013 is still fun to play today. But fans are ready for something new after 9 years of GTA 5. And we may have gotten our first unofficial look at GTA 6.

We think Rockstar will take down these clips very quickly, so don’t be surprised if this article looks much less full in a few hours.

First Grand Theft Auto 6 Gameplay Leaks

Police shootout in GTA 6

In one of the longer clips, a female player and some police officers get into a gunfight. The clip focuses on the police AI and shows how their  Cheat code reacts to the threat.

At some point, the player moves into over-the-shoulder gunplay and kills the police while taking a few shots of herself. The clip shows it is running on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super, which could be our first hint at the recommended specs for the full game.

Diner Robbery

In another clip, the female player robs a diner full of people, which may be the first time we see the game’s female protagonist. She wears a pink top that is just a bit too short. And blue paints for camo. Her light brown/blonde hair has waves and is pulled back into a ponytail.

Inside the diner, the player pulls out a gun and points it at the cashier, making them open the cash register. She also talks to people and makes sure they don’t run away. She even tied the hands of one person. Even though the player models aren’t done yet, it’s worth noting that the game already seems to have background voice acting.

At the top of the screen is a bar that slowly goes down, showing how long it will be until the police arrive. When the diner is empty, the police show up and the player runs away with their money.

Train GTA 6

It looks like GTA 6 will have a train you can ride as part of an above-ground public transportation system. The leaked video shows that the vehicle is not moving but can be boarded in a train station. The bright blue train looks like a subway car, with big seats and yellow poles for people who want to stand. It seems like players can move around in any way they want while the vehicle is moving.

First GTA 6 Images

A set of new screenshots supposedly first posted on the GTAForums show a male protagonist in a GTA 6 strip club. In another picture, a second male model wearing a sleeveless t-shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap backward walks through an outdoor concert seating area with long rows of blue seats facing the stage.

We can also see the same female player model as before, standing in a sunny pedestrian area with palm trees.

GTA 6 Setting & Location Leak

It’s important to note that the codename for the GTA 6 footage is “Americas,” which suggests that Rockstar Games’ next game will also take place somewhere in America. The settings we can see seem to be from a place that looks like Miami, and there are more signs that this is where the upcoming game will take place.

On a video of a police officer firing a gun, you can see an “Ocean Beach Police” badge on his arm. Interestingly, it looks a lot like the shield of the Miami Beach Police Department.

On the back of a police car, though, we can see V.C.P.D, which has led to rumors that Vice City is coming back.

One GTA Forums user listed all the guns in the leaked gameplay footage. This is probably only a small portion of all the weapons in the game, and it’s all based on footage from before the game came out, so take it with a grain of salt.
