TUPAC Shakur’s life was cut short tragically when he was killed in a drive-by shooting, but many people think he is still alive. People think of Tupac, whose stage name was 2Pac, as one of the best artists of his time. He sold millions of albums even after he died in Las Vegas.
Who Was Tupac?
Tupac was an American rapper who was the face of gangsta rap in the 1990s. After he died, he became a cultural icon. His mother, Afeni Shakur, was an active member of the Black Panther Party. She raised him and his sister, Sekyiwa, in New York. Tupac is one of the most famous rappers of all time, with 75 million albums sold.
In his music, he often talked about the struggles of African Americans. This made him a voice for a whole generation.
How Old Was He When He Passed Away?
He was born in Harlem on June 16, 1971. When he was killed, the well-known rapper was only 25 years old.
Tupac’s last words to his friend Suge Knight were, “you the one they shot in the head, you shot in the head,” because he thought the Death Row Records boss had been hurt. Keffe D. Davis, a gangster from Compton, has since bragged about his alleged role in the murder, saying that he and his nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson shot Tupac and then ran away from the scene.
Davis wrote that he bought a gun to kill Tupac because Pac beat up Anderson at the MGM Grand after a Mike Tyson fight in September 1996.
What Do We Know About His Death?
On September 13, 1996, a person in a white Cadillac with four other people shot and killed Tupac at a Las Vegas intersection. When he was hit, he was in a car that had stopped at a red light.
A Glock fired 40-caliber rounds. Tupac was shot four times in the chest, arm, and thigh. He went into a coma and died in the hospital six days later. Police say that Suge, with Tupac then, drove in the wrong direction to get to the hospital and then crashed into a divider at a traffic light. Cops thought Anderson, a “gangbanger,” was to blame, but police paperwork showed that they were actively looking for “suspects.” The LAPD has long thought that Anderson, a member of the Crips, pulled the trigger, but Las Vegas detectives seem to have ruled that out.
“Disclosing the investigative records could make people of interest or possible suspects aware of the investigation,” a letter from 2018 said. “This could lead to the destruction or hiding of evidence.”
Anderson always said he didn’t do it and was never charged. Two years later, he was killed in a shootout in Compton.
Do you know, Who Killed Chris Kyle And How?: Everyone was shocked when the world heard that Chris Kyle, one of the deadliest snipers in U.S. military history, had been killed in February 2013. People are now looking on the internet to find out what happened to the person who killed Chris Kyle.
What Are The Conspiracy Theories Surrounding His Death?
Suge also said in the Showtime documentary American Dream / American Knightmare that Tupac had talked about faking his death while they were on vacation just before he died. His son, Suge J. Knight, is sure that Tupac is still alive in Malaysia and that the Illuminati faked his death. Over the years, many “sightings” of the star have led some to think he faked his own death, while others are sure he is still alive and well. In the song Better Dayz, released after Tupac’s death, he said, “Expect me like you expect Jesus to come back.”
Locals in Old Havana, Cuba, say they’ve seen him walking around, and videos have been released of men who look like him. Michael Nice, who believes in conspiracies, has also said that he and Fidel Castro helped Tupac get into Cuba because there was a hit out on him.
Is Tupac Living In Plain Sight?
Rick Boss, a filmmaker, thinks that Tupac went to New Mexico through the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, either with a body double or in a helicopter. The Navajo tribe is still protecting him there. But private investigator Jimmy Poole is sure that the Ghetto Gospel rapper lives in Belize because he saw a picture of someone who looked like Tupac posing with a fan.
Others think he lives in the US because a man who looked like him was caught on camera during the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City. He was also seen in a bar in New Orleans.
There are also pictures online of celebrities like Beyonce and 50 Cent posing with Tupac, but it’s unclear whether they are real. But some people think Tupac is being held in a Los Angeles prison because “newly found” booking records from 2017 and 2019 seem to match the rapper’s identity. Ex Con Cody Lachey said on YouTube that when he searched for Tupac Amaru Shakur and his date of birth, he found two recent entries.
The first is from April 14, 2017, and the second is from April 26, 2019. Both have details about his height and weight, but fake names can be given.
