After the first season concluded, the storyline of the series was completed. There were no more cliffhangers or surprises to divulge in the final episode of Season 1. There’s no doubt that the on-screen relationship between Kyoko and Izumi will continue if the program is given a second season order. The material for the first season has already been used up. If the anime is to continue, a new plot must be devised.
