The singer was on what was supposed to be his last tour, and on November 22, an all-star farewell concert was set to take place in Nashville. On Thursday, May 2, his funeral will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Friends, family, and big names in the music business will be there to honor one of country music’s best singers. The service will be available to everyone.

Jones’s family has asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Grand Ole Opry Trust Fund or the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
