According to a stack of court documents obtained by People magazine, Kenya filed for divorce in March in March. Still, she has followed up with a Request for Order of Support (RFO for Support) since Gary has ceased paying the thousands of dollars in child support they had been getting. Even though she was trying to reach an amicable agreement with her husband, Duke claimed in the RFO that she was left with no choice except to seek support.

Gary and Kenya have been wed for about 17 years. Kenya remarked, “I left my successful account management position 23 years ago to dedicate myself fully to Gary and his business. The amount frequently deposited into their account throughout their marriage, $44,000 per month, is what Kenya Duke requests from Gary Owen. She claimed Kenya had previously paid “bills, credit cards, and personal expenditures for myself and the kids.”

Kenya wanted a one-time payment of $88,000 in addition to the $44,000 per month she had requested for the following four years as compensation for the “previous two months he has failed to provide me with money.” Despite their initial attempts to conceal their divorce, things between them swiftly turn sour.
