GameStop PS5 Restock Announced For This Week

GameStop has announced that there will be a Ps5 restock event later this week, where fans will be able to buy a console bundle.

The Ps5 Restock officially in November 2020, but many people who want to buy it still don’t have it. The Ps5 has been sold out since it came out almost two years ago, and when more are made, they sell out right away. Because of this, some customers have been forced to buy a Ps5 from scalpers at much higher prices.

Fans who want to buy a Ps5 without having to deal with scalpers can do so this week by going to the GameStop store closest to them.

GameStop has set a firm date for this restocking event, and some gamers will be able to get their hands on a PS5 as soon as tomorrow.

This GameStop Ps5 restock will give fans a chance to buy the console on August 19 and 20 in the US by going to a store near them. The only people who can get a Ps5 on August 19 are Pro members. Everyone else will have to wait until August 20. The event page confirms that this restock will only include Ps5 bundles, so users will have to buy the whole bundle even if they don’t need all the items. Most of the time, these bundles come with games, extra controllers, and other Ps5 accessories like the camera or headset. Lastly, the event page says that there will be a limited amount.

When Will GameStop Restock PS5s?

Last month, on July 16, GameStop stores had a Ps5 restocking event, and customers could choose between two console bundles. Both came with an extra Galactic Purple DualSense controller, a DualSense charging station, and a $60 subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential. One bundle came with a copy of Call of Duty: Vanguard and the other came with a Pulse 3D Wireless Headset. Fans who go to their local GameStop store this week can expect to see bundles like these.

Sony had already said that it is trying to make more PS5s available for the holidays. This information comes from a review of Sony’s earnings, where it was said that sales of software and engagement with games were down. Sony then said that it wants to see more user engagement in the second half of the fiscal year, especially with all the big games coming out later in 2022. Sony plans to do this by making more PS5s available and letting people know about the new PlayStation Plus tiers, which are now available everywhere and give users a choice of three plans.
