After Ezra Miller Controversies, DC Comics Finally Released The Flash Trailer During The Super Bowl

After Ezra Miller Controversies, DC Comics has finally given us a full look at The Flash, just in time for Super Bowl LVII on Sunday (12 February).

The long-awaited superhero movie’s trailer comes out a month after its star, Ezra Miller, pleaded guilty to trespassing in the latest of a series of long-running scandals.

Miller, who plays Scarlet Speedster, runs into another version of himself in the two-and-a-half-minute preview. Michael Keeton and Ben Affleck, who were both Batmen before, are also brought back.

General Zod, played by Michael Shannon in Man of Steel, and Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle for the first time, are also in the cast. So are Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Antje Traue, and Maribel Verd.

Miller’s first solo movie as the super-fast hero was a cameo in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Since then, he has played the role of The Flash in The Flash.

According to the report, Miller’s many controversies, including arrests and reports of strange behavior from Hawaii to Vermont, have made it hard to get the movie out in theatres.

Miller has been accused of choking a woman in a bar in Iceland in 2020, of pursuing and “psychologically manipulating” an 18-year-old from North Dakota, and of letting a woman and a child stay on their farm in Vermont, where “guns were lying around.”

They recently said they were sorry for what they did and that they had started treatment for “complex mental health issues.”

The Flash is set to come out in theatres on June 16.
