Elon Musk Advocates For a ‘Fairly Normal’ President In The 2024 Elections

Elon Musk and the Twitter proprietor said he’d want to see “someone fairly normal” in the Oval Office after the 2024 election, but he didn’t indicate who that should be.

Musk was asked about an announcement from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) about a “Twitter Spaces” event planned for Wednesday evening, during which the governor would join Musk and announce a bid for the Republican nomination for president during an appearance at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit on Tuesday.

Musk said he wasn’t planning to endorse any particular candidate but is interested in using Twitter as a public town square, the Journal reported.

The billionaire entrepreneur wanted to see “someone fairly normal” in office after the 2024 election.

Musk appeared to back Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) in a tweet on Friday. Scott declared his own presidential run on Monday.

Scott, DeSantis, and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley are among the significant candidates facing off against former President Trump, the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican nomination and whose Twitter account Musk reactivated after buying the firm.

On many occasions, Trump was removed from the platform by its former leadership for violating its harmful content restrictions.
