Donnie McClurkin Claims He Will ‘Always Be Alone’ Because of His S*xuality

‘I’ve messed up more than I’ve had good. My past relationships were a sprinkling of everything – men and women,’ says McClurkin.

Donnie McClurkin, the gospel singer, has revealed his s*xuality again, stating in a recent edition of TV One’s Uncensored that he may end up alone for the rest of his life.

McClurkin, 61, previously came publicly about his earlier battles with homosexuality, which he called a “perversion,” and claimed that he could hide his s*xual inclination by referencing his and many Christian churches’ stance on homosexuality as a sin.

He admitted that he still had urges to be with men but chose not to. Comparing homos*xuality to diabetes, he said, “I don’t eat sugar, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t want sugar.”

Today, the Grammy Award-winning musician claims that his struggle with his se*uality will leave him without the family he has always desired.

“I didn’t know what a woman desired,” McClurkin admitted on Uncensored. “I’ve had more bad luck than good luck.” My previous partnerships were a mishmash of men and women.”

“When things become tough,” he says, “I return to my haven – my music and my ministry.” “I attributed it to never having a long-term relationship or being married.” In terms of a mate, I’ll probably be alone for the rest of my life.”

McClurkin seems to be referring to his 2016 romance with gospel singer Nicole C. Mullen. Mullen went out publicly to clear the situation after reports circulated that the couple was engaged.

“We are on our way to marriage, but protocol comes first!” Mullen said online.

“To be honest, marriage is the only thing missing in my life.” Marriage is the only thing missing in my life that could lead to a true family. I’m financially prepared. I’m almost there spiritually. “I’m getting it together emotionally,” McClurkin told faith-based TV personality Matt Crouch.

“But the only thing missing from everything I’m doing locally, nationally, and globally is that aspect that makes family, family — that wife that would make man whole, that element that brings favor to man.”

McClurkin had previously written about his issues with his attraction to men, basing his impulses on being a victim of child molestation.

“These habits emerged as a result of a broken guy throwing an 8-year-old son into this tornado.” “As a result, my first s*xual relationship was with a male,” the gospel veteran explained. “The wound was inflicted, and the seed was sown, before I could ever know the purpose or pleasure of a woman, have my first date, or even my first kiss.”

“There may be some who will read this and resent some of the statements made about homos*xuality. “I get it,” McClurkin added. “Some have no desire to change this lifestyle. However, there are a large number of people who are unhappy with their current lifestyle and wish to be free of it.”

Following the airing of his recent episode of Uncensored, Black Twitter had a lot to say about McClurkin’s proclamation of a life of solitary due to s*xual suppression.

“heartbreaking. Nobody can convince me that it’s God’s plan for Donnie Mcclurkin to be so lonely because of who he’s attracted to. “I am devastated for him since he has been segregated from companionship to placate sinners in the church,” commented one Twitter user.

“Tragic that Donnie McClurkin chooses to be bound to the fear of condemnation that religion teaches us,” said another. I wish that gay/queer children and adults are treated with love and acceptance, allowing them to live freely.”
