Teen Mom Leah Messer and her now-ex fiancé Jaylan Mobley have had a beautiful love life. After starting their relationship in September 2021, the couple got engaged within under a year of their relationship. Fans of Leah may recognize her from MTV’s shows “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom 2”. However, Jaylan was someone who adored Leah for who she is. Jaylan is a U.S. Army officer along with a Ph.D. student who first met each other during an event held in September 2020. The relationship had gone serious fast enough and Leah even introduced Jaylan to all of her children, “Aliannah,” “Ali,” as well as “Aleeah”.
“Teen Moms” fans were quick to point out that the couple is taking their relationship too fast. In April, Jaylan surprised the teen mom with a gorgeous new home for building a family. And by August, he went down on his knees to propose to her for marriage. Leah said yes, but who knew that they would decide to separate only after two months of their engagement? So, what went wrong and why did Leah and Jaylan break up?

In October, the “Teen Mom” star along with fiancé Jaylan had chosen to split in a matter of two months after they got engaged. They dropped a joint statement that revealed to fans their break-up. The statement read, “While the last year has been tremendously exciting for both of us, we’ve realized that it’s best we walk separate paths. We are so grateful for the lessons, growth, and memories we’ve had in this relationship,” “We will forever have love and respect for each other, and we ask for privacy as we refocus and transition out of this chapter together“.
Back in August, Jaylan proposed to Leah when they were celebrating a beautiful anniversary trip in Costa Rica. They were seen dining together, attended by a private chef. And amidst the romantic set-up, he popped the question of marriage. As a matter of fact, Mobley even ensured to have a conversation with all of Messer’s daughters’ baby daddies before proposing.
After the engagement, Messer shared, “It feels amazing. I never imagined myself being here today, but I couldn’t imagine myself being anywhere else,” “I can’t even express how I’m feeling. I wanted this moment to be the perfect moment for her.”
Messer was married twice, first to Corey Sims which continued for only a year, from 2010 to 2011, and next to Jeremy Calvert lasted from 2012 to 2015.
If things would have gone the way the couple thought to be, then they would have made a great family. Even Messer’s exes approved of Mobley and were glad that he was the one in the lives of their daughters
The couple always showcased their PDA-filled life to the audiences. In fact, they did give glimpses of the love life to their fans.
Now, no one knows what is the main reason behind the break-up of the couple but whatever it is, the “Teen Mom 2” star is really upset over her split. The insider has been saying that Leah is not in her best state of mind. Hopefully, the reason will be out soon enough.

Who Will Be Keeping The House? Leah or Jaylan?
The former couple announced moving into their new home in April. Well, as per Mobley’s social media post, it appeared that he is the buyer of the house. He uploaded the photo which was captioned, “Proud to be a first-time homeowner! I am so thankful and blessed and still speechless to own this home. Surprise! @leahmesser,” “I’m proud of you for selling your first home, and so, I wanted to surprise you with a new home, our home.”
They even co-parented Leah’s kids together and it was a perfect family. However, on 14th October 2022, TMZ reported that Leah’s ex-fiancé has been seen shifting things out of the house. Jaylan had shifted out all his stuff on Thursday. They used to stay in the West Virginia home for years now and now, Jaylan is shifting to a new apartment that is almost 45 minutes away from his ex’s apartment.
It appears that it was Leah who bought the house for $515k and she is planning to keep the home. Even if it appeared that Leah owns the house, this isn’t the truth.
The former couple had quite a struggle it seems and hopefully, they will find peace in a better place. We pray that they get through this heartbreak and have a beautiful healing journey. If things go in the right direction, we hope they reconcile yet again.
