When Will Dead Space Remake Available For PlayStation 5?

Even though no one can hear you scream in space, some Dead Space fans may have let out Necromorph-like shrieks of delight at the news of a reboot. With the exclusive use of the Frostbite game engine, Dead Space is being remade from the ground up for next-gen consoles. Increased immersion, chilling dread, and other upgrades from 2008 original are in store for players.

According to E.A., the next Dead Space will feature an enhanced story, cast of characters, and gameplay elements. In an ongoing series of developer deep-dives, the most recent focus was on the game’s immersive landscapes and art, so we’re already getting a taste of what we might expect.

So, after an eternity, Dead Space has returned, and we can only pray that it hasn’t lost any of the terror that made us all shake in our space boots back in 2008. Developer E.A. Motive announced its release date in May, so a new tease is due. Although the development team has said that we should expect more important disclosures in October, it is possible that we could see another teaser trailer or gameplay demo before then.

Not until Gamescom 2022 did E.A. skip the event and the Dead Space remake wasn’t featured in the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream.

Still, stay close to the airlock because we’re about to go through everything we know about the new Dead Space.

Dead Space Remake Release Date

A new version of Dead Space will be released on January 27, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and PC.

Development is “progressing quite well,” according to developer E.A. Motive, who confirmed the release date during a May 2022 developer Livestream. The next upgrade, they said, will come in October 2022, only a few months before the game’s release.

Dead Space Remake Gameplay

The developers of the new Dead Space tried to recapture the series’ signature brand of tight and unsettling third-person horror gameplay. Constricted passageways in space stations may conceal a wide variety of Necromorphs. Thankfully, after removing their skin, the only way to stop these muscle-bound monsters is to amputate their limbs with the Plasma Cutter. These aggressive monsters can be kept at bay with the help of additional weapons.

Isaac uses the natural world as another weapon. Explosive canisters, airlocks, and other rudimentary measures of reversing the tide against invading hostile animals have always been welcomed in the Dead Space franchise. Especially given the constant scarcity of ammunition. Don’t leave your dead opponents lying around; you don’t want them returning to haunt you.
