Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Pre-order Bonus Revealed

In 2007, Crisis Core told the story of what happened before the main events of Final Fantasy VII. As part of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake universe, it will come back in 2022 as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. Here’s what you can do this winter to get your hands on it.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Release Date And Platform

Crisis Core will be out before the end of the year. It will be out on Tuesday, December 13. The first game could only be played on the PSP, but Reunion will be playable on many different devices. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

 

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Standard Edition

This is the game’s most basic version, with no extra features. It costs $49.99 on all platforms. Even though this edition isn’t very special, you’ll get a nice bonus if you preorder it. Crisis Core is getting a “Hero’s Legacy” steelbook, as shown on Twitter, with a picture of the main character, Zack Fair, posing in front of a silver background. Even though Zack is the face of many memes, this steelbook is gorgeous. If you pre-order the physical game, you’ll get one and three Materia that you can use in the game.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Collector’s Edition

Crisis Core has a Collector’s Edition, but only people in Japan can buy it. For those interested, the 32,000 package includes the game in the same steelbook case and the bonus Materia, the game’s soundtrack, script book, art book, a Zack figurine, and a letter from Aerith. This Collector’s Edition will probably not be sold anywhere else, but if you want to get a rough idea of how much it might cost, that price point is about USD 224.
