“Chucky,” Don Mancini’s hit horror show, was officially renewed for a third season this morning. New episodes will air later this year on both USA and SYFY.
“The cast and crew of Chucky would like to thank both fans and critics for the overwhelmingly positive response to season two, which has led to the official greenlight for season three. Chucky is very happy about this news. Thank Damballa for that, because Chucky would have been hard to deal with if that hadn’t happened. Thanks to our partners at SYFY, USA, and UCP for helping us keep Chucky busy. Don Mancini said, “See you in 2023 for what Chucky himself says will be his scariest season ever.”
What can we look forward to in Season 3? Well, let’s talk about the current situation…
The Glen/Glenda doll that walks and talks came back in the Season 2 finale. It was again voiced by Billy Boyd (! ), and it still had the souls of both Glen and Glenda. The doll is now called GG and is going on its own adventures in the UK. Glen and Glenda’s human bodies, played by Lachlan Watson, are gone.

Nica Pierce, who no longer has to take care of Charles Lee Ray’s soul, is now looking for GG’s mom, Tiffany. Nica is hunting for Tiffany, who is hiding in New York City.

Jake, Devon, and Lexy tried to have a peaceful Christmas with Lexy’s mother. Some relationships were fixed and some moments of peace were found, but it wasn’t long before Chucky Prime, in the body of a brand-new Good Guys doll, came down the chimney with a chainsaw. Chucky brutally killed Lexy’s mom in one of the best kill scenes in the franchise’s history, but Lexy got back at Chucky. She killed Chucky with a chainsaw because she thought at the time that it was the last doll with Charles Lee Ray’s soul. But at least one more Chucky doll is still around…

The other big surprise in the season finale was that Caroline, Lexy’s sister, is now working with Tiffany Valentine. Chucky has convinced Caroline that Tiffany is her real mother, so she is now working with Tiffany. Caroline is now working with Tiffany, which means she has moved over to the dark side.
