‘Carnival Row’ Official Trailer: Is The Show End After Season 2?

Prime Video shows the trailer for Carnival Row Season 2. Carnival Row, which starts in August 2019, is a mix of neo-noir and fantasy. It is about Philo, played by Orlando Bloom, a half-blood detective who is looking into a string of brutal murders. The detective’s life is made even more complicated by his relationship with Vignette Stonemoss, a fae played by Cara Delevingne. She is keeping a secret that could threaten the already fragile peace of society. Even though critics had mixed feelings about Carnival Row season 1, viewers liked the show and watched it closely during its first run.

Co-creator Travis Beacham left the neo-noir drama because he had creative differences from the other creators. This was said to be a mutual decision. An official description of the second season can be found on Prime Video:

“(Season 2) picks up with former inspector Rycroft Philostrate a.k.a. Philo (Orlando Bloom) investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tension. Carnival Row Won’t Get A Third Season

Travis Beacham, who was the show’s executive producer and whose 2005 screenplay “A Killing on Carnival Row” was turned into the Prime Video series, is probably disappointed that the show only lasted two seasons. It started official pre-production in 2015, and a series of orders came in 2017. The first season came out on Prime Video in 2019, but the second season didn’t start being made until 2021. This was because of the pandemic. The show had to get past a lot of problems to get to this point, where it will end after two seasons.

Beacham and Rene Echevarria adapted the book into a TV show. Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma, and Jared Harris all have roles in the movie Carnival Row.
