Broken Arrow police have found the couple who killed themselves and each other on Thursday night. Kenneth Carpenter, who is 56 years old, is the main suspect. Diane Carpenter, who is 66 years old, was killed.
They lived together and were married.
Kenneth talked with BAPD’s Crisis Negotiation and Special Operations teams for about 4 hours.
At 3:50 on Thursday, a family member called the police to check on someone. The police are still looking for a reason.
As Per the report, Police in Broken Arrow said Thursday night that a man killed himself after being in a standoff with police for hours in a neighborhood near East 131st Street South.
Thursday around 4:00 p.m., police were called to the house to make sure everyone was okay. Inside the house, the police found a dead woman and a man with a knife. The man went back into the house, and the police said they talked to him for hours to get him to come out.
When the police finally went in, they found him dead. Police said there is no longer a threat to the public and are still looking into what happened.
