Chapman was taken to the hospital in April because he had trouble breathing. At the time, a source told US Weekly, “She hasn’t been feeling well lately, and [her husband] Duane “Dog” Chapman is by her side. “Beth is a fighter, which is something everyone knows.”

Unfortunately, her health problems kept worsening, and doctors put her in a coma with medicine in June. Chapman’s lawyer told USA Today that she was in “serious” condition, which made Dog ask for love and “prayers” on Twitter.

The reality star also broke the news that Chapman had died. In an emotional tweet posted on June 26, Dog wrote, “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, which is when she would wake up to hike Koko Head mountain. She climbed the stairs to heaven for the first time today. Beth, we all love you. We’ll see you on the other side.”

How long had Beth Chapman and Dog been together?

Before they married in 2006, Chapman and Dog had been together for more than 30 years. When Chapman was only 19, they met in the 1980s, and the rest is history.
