Our heroes, a group of genetically-enhanced ex-Clone Commandos voiced by Clone Wars mainstay Dee Bradley Baker, and their young charge Omega (Michelle Ang) must now face the challenge of making their own choices in a galaxy where an order is derived from the absence of that choice as the galaxy adjusts to Emperor Palpatine’s rule.

Dave Filoni is the show’s creator, while Jennifer Corbett is the show’s main writer. Several characters from throughout the Star Wars universe made appearances in the first season’s sixteen episodes, cementing the Batch’s place in the canon of the pre-Rogue One era of the Star Wars universe. After the trailer premiered, Corbett took to Twitter to announce the premiere, midseason, and final episode launch dates for the season.

Season two will premiere on Disney+ on January 4, and run through April 12, 2023, for a total of sixteen episodes. Those who want to watch the first season of The Bad Batch can do so right now on Disney+.
