Aqua Teen Hunger Force Season 12: The Show Will Returning at Adult Swim!

They came back just when the world needed them most. The iconic cartoon series Aqua Teen Hunger Force will return for a 12th season on Adult Swim, the industry leader in adult animation. The original creators, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, will return to produce a new season. There will be five all-new episodes in the 12th season.

The announcement is made just before Aqua Teen Fever: Phantasm premieres at HBO Max. The new movie will debut at midnight on March 12, 2023, on Adult Swim and on February 8, 2023, on HBO Max. The eagerly awaited 12th season of the show has not yet been given a date for when it will start.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force originally debuted on Cartoon Network in 2000 and ran there until 2015, while it also went by many names during its initial run. Since it debuted on the network’s Adult Swim in 2001, the series has become a mainstay. The series’ absurdist and frequently crude comedy suited the network’s 2000s target audience.

The conversation and improvisation in the animated series are extensively improvised, a style that has since been adopted by several other vibrant programs (we’re looking at you, Rick, and Morty).

The show centers on the exploits of three anthropomorphized fast food items: Meatwad, a kind and affectionate meat wad; Frylock, a brilliant box of french fries; and Master Shake, a milkshake who only cares about himself. Carl Brutananadilewski, a neighbor, frequently joins them.

Throughout the series, the heroes go on wild and crazy adventures and often face enemies who look or act like fast-food pals.

“Congratulations!” they added. “You waited just long enough for ‘Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm’ to be free on the service your parents pay for. I can’t wait for you to discover the project everyone has been talking about, and by everyone, I mean our personal twitter accounts. There is too much stuff to watch already. Breathe, and focus exclusively on Aqua Teen. Delete everything else.”
