Amy Adams Says She Would Return As Lois Lane In New Superman Films

Amy Adams Says She Would Return As Lois Lane In New Superman Films. Man of Steel actress Amy Adams has said she would reprise her role as Lois Lane in upcoming DC films after Henry Cavill confirmed his return as Superman.

In an interview with Variety, she said she was excited about Cavill’s return but that the studio hadn’t contacted her yet. She said, “I’m so happy for him.” “He’s a great Superman, so I’m really happy for him.”

Adams said this when asked about her own return: “I haven’t heard anything about it from them. If it’s me, that’s fine. If it’s someone else, the role of Lois has been played by so many great actresses in the past that I’ll be happy with whatever they decide.” Adams played Lois Lane for the first time in 2013 hit comic book movie Man of Steel. She then worked with Henry Cavill’s Superman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and the poorly reviewed Justice League movie.

Spoiler alert: The next few paragraphs talk about Black Adam’s mid-credit scene.

Cavill’s announcement of his return came right after he made an uncredited cameo in Black Adam as Superman during the mid-credits scene.

“I wanted to make it official that I’m back as Superman,” Cavill said at the time. “The image you see in this post and what you saw in Black Adam is just a small taste of what’s to come.”

The DC Movies in (Chronological) Order

We don’t know if Adams, Diane Lane (who plays Superman’s mother), or any of the other actors who have been in DC’s recent Superman movies will come back.
