Alianna DeFreeze Autopsy: Doctors Couldn’t Find Death Cause

The cause of Alianna DeFreeze’s death was not said in the autopsy. On Wednesday morning, when the jurors heard the disturbing testimony and saw the pictures of Alianna DeFreeze’s terrible injuries, they were shocked.

Alianna was 14 years old when she died, according to her family. In January 2017, Christopher Whitaker was arrested and charged with kidnapping, raping, and killing Alianna, who was 14 years old.

It was known that she went missing on her way to school from the east side of Cleveland. The police said that they found her dead body in an empty house on Fuller Avenue three days later.

Dr. David Dolinak, the Deputy Medical Examiner for Cuyahoga County, did Alianna DeFreeze’s autopsy. He said that the tools found in the house were what hurt her. She got hurt with a screwdriver, a box cutter, and a drill.

Jeffrey Oblock, a DNA analyst at the Cuyahoga County Regional Forensics Laboratory, says that the DNA found on Alianna’s dead body is identical to Whitaker’s.

Jeffrey also said, “In the absence of an identical twin, Christopher Whitaker is the source of the major DNA component in this mixture to a reasonable degree of scientific certainty.

David Brewton, an assistant pastor at the Gogatha Missionary Baptist Church on East 93rd Street, gave a statement to the police in which he said that Whitaker helped him unload food pantry items from the truck.

He also said that DeFreeze had died on the same day. David said that Whitaker was calm, but he was angry because he had to do odd jobs.

David also said, “He appeared to me in his demeanor like the average guy I meet in that neighborhood on a daily basis.” The police say that David saw Whitaker talk to Alianna on the day she was killed in a brutal way.

Whitaker’s lawyers said their client was not found guilty of the charges, but he could get the death penalty if found guilty. His lawyer also said they would do everything possible to avoid putting him on death row.

During the phase about the death penalty, the lawyer planned to do something to lower the sentence.

So, on the day of the death penalty phase, his lawyer showed a psychologist report that Whitaker was high on cocaine and couldn’t control himself when he killed Alianna.

Dr. Robert Kaplan wrote the report, which says that Whitaker is a drug addict who mostly uses cocaine.

The doctor says that Whitaker is also addicted to alcohol and marijuana, which is why he doesn’t remember anything about what happened.
