Agatha: House of Harkness Release Date: Is There a Trailer for It?

Agatha: House of Harkness Release Date: There aren’t many Marvel projects shrouded in secrecy as “Agatha: House of Harkness.” The Kathryn Hahn-led series, which will supposedly debut on Disney+ Day in November 2021, would reportedly include the now-famous “WandaVision” adversary Agatha Harkness in all her twisted glory. What more do we know about “Agatha,” and what can viewers anticipate from the MCU spin-off?

As part of her comprehensive agreement with Marvel and 20th Television, showrunner Jac Schaeffer is expected to write and executive produce, according to Deadline, which first revealed her involvement on Nov. 12, the same day Disney originally announced “House of Harkness.” In addition to writing the script for “Black Widow,” Schaeffer served as the show’s head writer for “WandaVision.”

Many theories have been put up regarding the plot of “House of Harkness” and how Hahn’s character might significantly impact the MCU considering the predicament she finds herself in after following the Scarlet Witch. This article will go through all currently known about the series and provide predictions about what Marvel fans might see in the future.

Agatha: House of Harkness Release Date

Marvel fans don’t appear to be receiving their encore performance of “Agatha All Along” any time soon since “House of Harkness” was only recently ordered up in early November. Disney has not yet disclosed both the start date for production and the anticipated release date. However, based on past endeavors and those in development, “Agatha” probably won’t debut until 2024 or possibly 2023.

The Marvel TV schedule for 2022 already features a plethora of programs, including Moon Knight,” “She-Hulk,” “Ms. Marvel,” and “Secret Invasion.” Not to mention the numerous animated series planned for 2023, including Season 2 of “What If…?” and the reboot of “X-Men ’97,” as well as the second seasons of “Loki” and “Echo.” It appears that “House of Harkness” will have to wait its turn and go to the back of the Marvel queue for the foreseeable future.

Who is in the Cast of Agatha: House of Harkness?

Hahn’s performances in the 2016 film “Captain Fantastic” and the critically acclaimed Amazon television series “Transparent” both earned her nods for the Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, respectively (per IMDb). She is currently starring alongside Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd in Apple’s “The Shrink Next Door.”

When we last saw Hahn on “WandaVision,” Agatha had tricked her into believing she was her “nosy neighbor” Agnes and had been imprisoned by Wanda Maximoff, nicknamed the Scarlet Witch, in the town of Westview. We might see Hahn joined by some of the other Westview inhabitants who appeared in the earlier series.

Including David Payton’s Herb or David Lengel’s Phil Jones, depending on whether “House of Harkness” is set before or after “WandaVision.” Disney hasn’t revealed any further cast members as of yet, though. Additionally, Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olsen, may be making a comeback, but this hasn’t yet been confirmed (according to Twitter).

What is the Plot of Agatha: House of Harkness?

The storyline of Agatha Harkness’ upcoming Disney+ series is a mystery, just like most things related to the author. Although nothing is confirmed now, fans have come up with many predictions and suggestions for what the series might bring. However, one potential premise has received more support than the others: the notion of a prequel regarding her origins.

“The prequel could be about her and her [coven] before she was betrayed,” wrote @shmorton2 on Twitter. He also noted how the title supports this hypothesis (before meeting their end at her hands). This is now the most widely accepted hypothesis regarding the plot of “House of Harkness,” and it makes the most sense given that there are still many questions regarding Agatha’s time as a witch in Salem, Massachusetts, before her being stabbed in the back by her fellow broom riders.

Another theory that keeps coming up is that Wanda’s illusion that Agatha is confined within Westview with the other residents is real. Some fans think this would result in a scenario resembling “WandaVision,” complete with identical production values and on-screen interactions, such as being in black-and-white or having a laugh track playing in the background.

It better be in Westview and still contain Evan Peters, as they said in “House of Harkness,” said Twitter user @2KMockingbird. Whatever the subject matter of “Agatha: House of Harkness,” it will undoubtedly be one of the Marvel properties that receive the most attention from the recently announced group, according to Jack McBryan of The Direct, who noted that among the flurry of MCU announcements on Disney+ Day, the announcement of Agatha’s series received the most likes.
