Paris Hilton thinks that being a mother is “hot.” The social media mogul, reality star, and DJ, who is 41, has given birth to a son with her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum, who is also 41. Her rep told USA TODAY that the baby is a boy.
Hilton posted a picture of what looks like her baby’s hand holding her thumb on Instagram on Tuesday, alluding to her new baby.
“I love you more than words can say,” Hilton wrote, adding a blue heart emoji.
In a statement to People that came out Tuesday, Hilton talked about being a mom.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” she said. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
Celebrities flooded Hilton’s Instagram comments with congratulatory messages.
“a BABY!!!!! congratulations so happy for you both!!” wrote Chrissy Teigen, who earlier this month gave birth to a baby with husband John Legend.
“CONGRATULATIONS!” wrote Elle Fanning. “Most beautiful mommy”
The wedding was in November 2021, nine months after Reum asked Hilton to marry him on her 40th birthday. Hilton later put her first thoughts about the party and becoming a “new wife” in a blog post on her website.

In an April 2022 SiriusXM interview, Hilton said that she and Reum have been planning to start a family for a while.
