A 25-year-old woman was ki!!ed and six others were injured early Sunday in Chicago after gunshots erupted at a remembering for a man ki!!ed in a vehicle acc*dent.
A big crowd had gathered around 1 a.m. to commemorate four years since a man was ki!!ed in a car acc*dent when an incident broke out and bullets were fired, Chicago Police Department Deputy Chief Adnardo Gutierrez, WLS-TV reported.
He said seven individuals were injured, and one of them, a 25-year-old woman, was confirmed deαd at a hospital. Six more Sh00ting victims were taken to the hospital, one of them was in critical condition.
“They were out there celebrating, and then something happened, and a verbal altercation occurred, and somebody began Sh00ting, or multiple people began shooting,” Gutierrez said during a press conference on Sunday.
He said it’s still unclear how many people opened fire, but he believes the gunshots were fired by someone or people taking part in the memorial.
A witness told officers that an incident occurred before the Sh00ting on the street in the Austin area on Chicago’s West Side.

A 29-year-old male with a chest wound was among the six other patients hospitalized in critical condition. The five others were hospitalized in good health, including a 17-year-old girl, a 28-year-old woman, and three men aged 27, 28, and 29, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Police detectives were investigating the Sh00ting, and no one was arrested as of midday Sunday.
Detectives, according to Gutierrez, are still looking for and interviewing witnesses. He urged anyone with information on the Sh00ting to call the police and share it.
