The Memphis Police Department reports that five persons were shot early on Sunday morning in Southwest Memphis, and one has now died.
The incident, according to the police, took place at 4675 S. Third. The petrol station is located close to the crossroads of Shelby Drive.
Minutes before 5 a.m. on Sunday, 26 feb 2023, police in Memphis were called to Methodist South Hospital. Five shooting victims were discovered and rushed to the hospital in a private vehicle.
It was reported that one individual had passed away and four others were in extremely serious condition.
Two persons are still in critical condition at Methodist South, while two others were transferred to Regional One Hospital.

Authorities have not disclosed any suspect information, and they are now investigating.
